Ahmed Tawfik

Biography
Dr. Ahmed Tawfik is a visionary researcher in wastewater treatment and waste-to-energy systems. A Wageningen University alumnus, he has pioneered sustainable engineering solutions reflected in 234 SCI-indexed papers, 24 book chapters, and four patents. With an Scopus H-index of 47 and over 7,625 citations, his research impact is world-class. As a Principal Investigator for major international initiatives and recipient of nine prestigious awards, Dr. Tawfik has mentored over 50 postgraduates, including winners of the Supreme Council’s “Best Ph.D. Thesis” in Environmental Engineering. He currently serves as professor at Kuwait university.
