Ayse Yarali Paisios

Ayse YARALI PAISIOS (PhD Biology), is a founding member of the R&D Department at MAGMA Agro S.A., an innovation-oriented Greek agri-food SME. She leads the department’s work on low-risk crop protection as well as circular bioeconomy focusing on the use of insects as bioconverters of agrifood residues into animal feeds and fertilisers. This builds up on her 15-years academic research experience on insect genetics, neurobiology, and behaviour at various German academic institutions such as the Max Planck Institute for Neurobiology and the Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology, up to the level of independent research group leader.
