Chrissi Daskalaki

Graduate of the Agricultural University of Athens, Department of Plant Production. Master’s degree in Organization and Management (MBA). Chrissi Daskalaki currently holds the position of General Director of Development Planning and is coordinating the implementation of the Smart Specialization Strategy for the Region of Crete. During the last three years she has been the Director of the Innovative Entrepreneurship Observatory (IBO), which is a new structure of the Directorate General for Development Planning. IBO was created in order to map the innovation ecosystem of the Region of Crete and to facilitate the cooperation of academic and research institutions with enterprises on the island in order to promote innovation. Through this structure a series of actions are implemented under her coordination.
