Gianluigi Buttiglieri

Dr Gianluigi Buttiglieri leads the research line on nature-based solutions. His research focuses on wastewater treatment, water reuse, decentralized water systems, and emerging organic contaminants. He coordinates and contributes to several European and Spanish research projects on sustainable water management. Dr Buttiglieri has authored more than 70 peer-reviewed publications, with an H-index of 33 and over 3,600 citations and has supervised 6 PhD theses (3 on-going).
