Ioannis Daliakopoulos

Dr. Ioannis Daliakopoulos is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Agriculture at the Hellenic Mediterranean University, Greece. His research interests include extreme weather events and climate change impacts in the urban and rural environment. While always involved in field studies, he specializes in the application of data mining and forecasting tools using of machine learning and optimization algorithms to analyze spatio-temporal datasets and stochastic processes. In 2024 he was included in Stanford list of top-cited researchers in the field of Environmental Engineering and Sciences.
