Biography

Raul Muñoz is Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Environmental Technology at the School of Industrial Engineering, University of Valladolid (Spain). With a degree and master in Chemical Engineering at Valladolid University  and a Doctoral -Degree in Environmental Biotechnology (Lunds Universitet), his research interests include biogas upgrading and valorization, bioplastic valorization and microalgae-based wastewater treatment. To date he has more than 371 publications in international scientific journals,  260 presentations in international conferences (including 37 plenary talks, and has managed more than 70 research projects, funded with over 15 million euros.
